stock-doctor,
Firstly , lucitrap which is being distributed by Bayer has been ordered to the value of 166k for initial order as announced a couple of weeks ago.
What was announced the other day is a marketing and distribution agreement for heliothis with CGS. This is the second product now on the market from bioglobal and the expected order value will be determined and ordered by mid august for the coming season.
CGS is a 50/50 joint venture between Bayer crop science and Syngenta. CGS has 50% direct supply market share in Australia for supply of chemicals for control of the Heliothis moth for the cotton industry and a further 25% thru distributors, thus controlling 75% of the market directly and indirectly. The market size in Australia is 80 mill for the cotton industry and thus bioglobals product has every chance of securing a slice of the market. If you look at bio's website you will see that they are also making inroads in the USA via the USDA. Website www.bioglobal.com.au.
hope this helps
cheers.
