None of the current site can handle large volumes of PASS >1million tonne PLUS. If there is no large volume site like NAG, the PASS will have to be treated which would is significantly more costly then a 'truck and dump' model. The expense of 'PASS treatment' is so expensive it make projects unviable. Here in Cairns we have no NAG type storage and large projects get knocked on the head because the expensive of PASS treatment.
I'm no truckie, but I'm pretty sure they can drive more than 4hours a day. With or Without NAG, trucks are going to be needed at the site so I do see how this is an issue against NAG.
