Just a thought re AGM/EGM that some might want to consider.
LNG recently had their AGM in Perth which attracted its fair share of irate shareholders. A vote on company resolutions took place and what was particularly interesting to me is how futile the NO vote's effort was. Quite disappointing but in spite of there being numerous Hotcopperites in attendance and concerted efforts beforehand to organise and mobilize disgruntled Hotcopperites, most contentious resolutions were beaten by 100-200% each time.
It was a little disheartening but the sad reality is that retail shareholders vote is always far smaller than the might and power of the board and insto investors.
Question is, will thread do more harm than good to prevailing HC sentiment?
