Rus, the occlusions in this case means that air has gotten into the line that feeds the meds to the body. Happens a lot with IV lines when the patient bends their arm. In this case I would take it to mean that in both cases neither device worked to 100% of its capability. If that is considered a failure of the unit that could be a very major problem if the occlusions occur in other units.
