Corruption erodes confidence and integrity and turns our politicians into bigger hypocrites than they already are. It should not be apart of any government or business endeavor. If there was no opposition to corruption then it would be far more rampant and it's bad enough now; think of all the activities that go undetected. It might be par for the course in those piss poor third world countries but should not be countenanced here.

As for Trump, I think it's in his best interested to be beyond reproach in regard to his business dealings. He has enemies, people of means and influence in politics and business who don't want him in the White House, people who would maybe much rather a President Pence, any potential conflicts of interest could very well be their foot in the door. Why give your enemies an advantage?
