Spid's Four Questions.
Q1. Any benefits in mechanising ore retrieval to speed up production.
A. There is some very high purity material which has extremely high value (e.g HOPG and mesoporous graphite). It is only present in very small percentages, but it's very high value makes it very important to retain purity. It's value is totally lost if it is in any way affected by impurities like even very tiny chips of host rock.
To identify, separate, and stockpile this material will make a huge difference to profitability over time.
This can only be done by hand with skilled and trained people.
The confines of the narrow adits also makes machine access difficult.
Q2, New mine development plan ex DHTEM analysis.
A. from Chris B (Geo). In short, expect announcement in the next few weeks. " The drilling that followed the DHTEM confirms the usefulness of the EM to identify and define veins"
Q3. What progress on the expansion of collaboration with prospective graphite and graphene offtake parties (Sept Ann.)
A. Covered by and large in the previous marketing section. The volume of enquiries has gone to a new level.
Reminded again that very few offtake prospects want any publicity. Most request confidentiality and anonymity. And that suits FGR in the long term too, to enhance price and value.
Q4. Adding link to website.
A. Both Peter and Craig admitted the website has been a low priority, basically done "in house" as time allows.
I think they and Warwick have some appreciation of the need for a little more funding in this area to boost it's usefulness in marketing both to end users and investors (shareholder communications).
I will certainly be following up with this personally.
The very small FGR team have been heads down, a.... up solidly for quite a while.
I am sure the Board understands the need to improve PR and communications now , so that it does not constrict growth and market development.
