The results are good. I am very happy with them. If you compare them to the drilling from a year ago we hit some bull eyes this time.
However as stated they are shallow drill holes. The is Peter is still learning about the geology of the deposit and he is conducting lots of shallow drilling to determine the source of the gold. These latest assays will help Peter better understand the dynamics of the area. The extra zone is very positive for this.
Now if those grades were in OZ we'd be off due to simple economics and infrastructure already exists. In PNG the market does not go nuts, it takes time to build confidence.
FNT is there for the long haul and it will take time to develop the site and determine the size of the deposit but it looking good on initial results. Yes we do need the bigger rigs but plans are afoot to allow that. Some deep drilling and interacts that match those and we will be getting lots of attention.
