There don't appear to have been Beauty and Grooming innovations listed as current needs on the P&G Connect website for some years. The last time I could find an active Need was May 10th 2012, where there was a request (dated Apr 20th, 2011) for:

Interestingly, the ASX announcement of a Joint Development Agreement with P&G was May 18th, 2012 (8 days later);

In conclusion; OBJ responded to the advertised Need, and P&G appear satisfied that they can do it.
