Anyone else out there looking at BAL and its trading pattern over the last year and getting ideas for a new investment strategy? Follow the shorts.. and buy! Seriously though, quality companies with high short interest, but strong balance sheets offer three key things, cheap entry points, time to accumulate and the increased likelihood of a strong move upwards when the short positions unwind, combined with new the buying interest that occurs on positive news... takes patience though, and resilience but most of all faith in your investment decisions; as it's always hard to convince yourself you are getting a bargain and to stick at it, while the rest of your holding seems to be loosing value! Good luck legends.
