fair enough point boogle. but i think it is dangerous for a democracy to have hundreds of millions of dollars distorting the natrual flow of information. you would argue murdoch and packer influence all the articles but i don't see it that way.they have better things to do.andrew bolt is one of the few right wing writers and he stands out for this reason..i suspect most, if not 80% of them would have been against the war in iraq,tampa and not saying sorry to the stolen generation.the thing is, most of these people watch the abc. and most see themselves as freedom fighters against their owners. murdoch calls the home of the fairfax press the snakepit.
