I guess why I balk at such terms as Intelligent Design or Guide is because they come with so much baggage. All life, the universe and universal systems are the result of natural systems, natural laws and natural order. Everything in this universe is subject to nature, the same natural, binding laws. Every aspect of existance was pre-existent, without beginning. Even the composition of a human was pre-existent in some form.

The process to evolve from some unknown cosmic seed to what appears today was as a result of the perfection of natural laws. So if we speak of Creation as per the scriptures then we are speaking about something without beginning or end because the universe is never the same one instant to the next thus constantly being Created or developing or evolving and if a moment exists when no outcome of Creation existed then in that same moment God did not exist, this is impossible, therefore everything was pre-existent in some form.

The aspect or order, the reality, the purposefulness of reality is the force of what we call God that can not be separated from the system itself and yet is not a part of the natural order. This God can not be described and works with natural processes that are the dominion of the sciences. It causes sentience to be an outcome of evolution because the universe without sentience does not exist.

Beyond this natural order is the emergence of the sentience of the human. This is another order of being. Beyond the natural order is a spiritual order and this too is slowly evolving to higher forms. It has been driven by inspired Teachers such as Christ and the great educators of indigenous peoples, etc.

I can't describe the whys and hows because they are absolutes and I am finite. The reason why science is so important is because nature is unfolded by fixed and immutable laws and thus can be studied and understood somewhat. The natural order testifies to a higher order. The spiritual aspect of humanity is then the domain of religious revelations. Any religion that sets out to counter scientific proof is dogma, superstition and pure imagination.
