I'm loving the effort the company is putting towards its investor relations in the presentations etc.

The AGM presentation today is yet another perfect example.

Slide 5 - The top-27 shareholders own 70% of the company - this provides an extremely sticky shareholder base.

Slide 7 - The number of shareholders has grown significantly from c. 800 to c. 1300 since August when the 'shareholder awareness' program really started as the company began its commercialisation / business development activities.

I've maintained for a long time, the greater the share markets awareness of ALC - the higher the SP will be. The investment case is extremely compelling & we are still a fair way off of fair value. (By my methodology - see the ALC-Valuation thread - currently 18.5c)

Tomorrow will see more institutional investor exposure for the company and these guys will slot straight in to the top-20 shareholding list should they also feel the investment case is compelling. Note that these guys are "actively looking for ehealth exposure" and are there in an "invite only" capacity.

I have never been involved with a company that has such a focus on it's shareholder base in every major presentation. It is extremely refreshing as management are certainly on the ball & acutely aware of what it takes to generate a sustainable >100m mkt cap company. That is, not only having a great product that is well received in the market place, but being sensitive to the shareholders mindset.

We are only at the beginning of this journey & there are certainly very exciting things to come!
