Wilef - I would imagine because it is a free world - at least it is in Australia at present. We are all allowed to make grown up decisions about what we do in life. The decision that a fund manager makes has as much chance of being right as it has of being wrong. A rather frightening fact is that the majority of fund managers underperform their respective indices. A somewhat bizarre fact is that some of the most profitable traders in the world actually lose money on the majority of their trades. Everyone just needs to concentrate on running their own race and being comfortable knowing that the decision that they have made is their own.
