Well, Peter, we bought the program about 3 years ago, apart from the advanced charting facility with V.4, I'm not too impressed. The way it was sold to us as people who had NEVER had any exposure to stocks was it was "so easy, you didn't need any experience, and by spending just 6 minutes a night, you could make thousands" etc, which was really just a load of BS. What they DONT tell you is all the research you need to do yourself once the program has analysed the stocks, like even just checking up on PE ratios, dividend yields, company announcements etc (if you want to make an informed decision), and looking back (say on TMO, which has regular 'buy' alerts), you'd have to be stupid to buy them, unless you were in it for long haul AND had a crystal ball, or you wanted to get the free downloads. The shares we bought using the program (just 6 minutes a night) have lost us money especially when they drop down considerably over the day and you can't sell them until the following day when they drop down even more ie AMP. We've made more money on the shares we've picked ourselves just by guessing whether the uptrend will continue. As an income for me while I'm at home with the little ones instead of nursing, it definitely has not worked. And for the amount of money we spent on it, I would NEVER do it again. I still download and do an analysis every night, but the little money we have made (with trying to recover our losses) has been made by day-trading. The charting book that came with the prgram is WAY over my head, (and I think I'm of reasonable intelligence) - actually the most deciferable info I've gotten so far has been from chat rooms like this. Go HC users! I would be interested in hearing what you think.
