I disagree. Maybe you have never been burnt on investments when rumours ahead of official info turned out to be true but I certianly have. Because of the information vacuum, media reports like this are difficult to ignore and in the event that the market has been misinformed (possibly manipulated) management need to update the market with official "progress" even if the progress is "no change".
I would even like a definition of "Arete" from the quarterly. So that we know what that means.
