If fund managers start selling (i.e. that one part) then all the long positions have to be liquidated simply because all these guys buy on margin and can't risk it

You can see its not fair that copper gets the blame for the sentiment at the moment. Nickle has hardly fallen through all of this, but it is turning.

If you get a solid wave of liqudation at the top and short covering, then it will all come undone very quickly as Copper traders have just re discovered.
