Oil down $2 last night...Cu up 3.5%
what does BHP value more..Oil or Cu
The bull markets in Cu and Oil are over.
Did Cu go up last night on increased vol? are they just profit takers from the short side buying back in the cover positions and profit take?
That would appear to be the case...its like profit taking on the long side except in reverse. But soon enough the sellers will begin again when the price rises for even more sellers to emerge.
You would expect the same to happen to oil soon. Profit takers come in to lock in profits and buy it back up. Once this is over, the sellers will short again.
BHP may be up today but it cant be sustained.
