The Verizon deal was initially announced on the 12th of September (Freebee Perks) and expanded upon with the release of the announcement on the 12th of October (Freebee Data + OTT). This is in a partnership capacity.
In the webinar Gary explains (to paraphrase) that Verizon requires their technology to compete with the threat from AT&T/DirecTV. This required the placement funding to grow their staff team to accommodate this increased activity.
The iOS version of Freeway is being tested by both AT&T and Verizon and the release on iOS (in December) should coincide with the launch of offers on Verizon Freebee Data/Perks platforms. OTT should follow between Q1 and Q2 2017. More revenue is expected from OTT on Verizon than from Freebee Data/Perks.
