I think at the time when these came out it was not appreciated like it should have been by a mostly ignorant market in my opinion.

    Update Flinders University

First results of the graph tests in Flinders

First Graphite Limited (ASX: FGR) reports on the latest state of the initial test work conducted by Flinders University on FGR graphite.

    The most important points

    - Successful production of graphs in several layers using TurboThinFilm (TTF) technology.
    - Production of graph nanostructures / tubes.
    - FGR-Graphenverfahren, VFD and TTF are all salesable one-step processes that complement each other.

    Graph update

FGR reports on the latest state-of-the-art tests carried out in accordance with the Flinders University's Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to apply Vortex Fluidic Device (VFD) and Turbo Thin Film (TTF).

The first results of the Turbo Thin Film Device, using FGR graphite in water, show the successful production of some graphene layers as well as needle structures in nanoscales (tubes), which could be similar to carbon nanotubes (carbon nanotubes).

Although these are only preliminary results, the TTF device is promising to produce high-quality graphs in multiple layers of FGR graphite material and also to produce nanoparticles that may be useful in certain methods.

FGR works closely with Flinders and expects further results from VFD in the near future. The expected benefits of VFD technology in conjunction with FGR's exfoliation procedures are:

    - All processes use green technologies for the production of high-quality graphs, consequently defects in nanomaterials are removed without changing chemically or physically.

    - All processes are single-stage, cost-effective and can offer first-class high-purity products at low prices.

    - All processes are scalable and will complement each other to produce nanomaterials with accurate physical properties, including length and chirality.

Managing Director Craig McGuckin said, "The initial results of thin-film technology are very encouraging, and although it is only at the initial stage of development, we believe TurboThinFilm and VortexFluidDevice will improve the performance of successful maingraf production, In order to customize graph products to meet customer requirements.

About First Graphite Ltd. (ASX: FGR)

First Graphite aims to develop an underground mine to break down high-grade crystalline ganggraphite, which is unique in Sri Lanka. As the company owns the exclusive rights to exploration licenses covering approximately 39,500 hectares of historical digging tracts within the entire licensing grid.

    About graphs

Graphs, the sufficiently publicized and now famous two-dimensional carbon allotrope is as a material as diverse as any other material discovered on Earth. Its amazing properties as the lightest and strongest material against its ability to conduct heat and electricity better than any other material means that it can be integrated into a huge number of applications. Initially, this means that graphene is used to improve the performance and efficiency of current materials and substances, but in the future it will also be developed in conjunction with other two-dimensional crystals to create some even more amazing compounds, resulting in an even broader application spectrum Be adjusted.

A research area, which is very intensively studied, is the energy storage. At present, scientists are working to improve the storage capacities of lithium-ion batteries (by inserting graphs as an anode) to offer much larger storage capacities with much longer life and charging times. The graph is also studied and developed to find application in the manufacture of supercapacitors that can be charged very quickly and can also store a large amount of current.

    Texture of the ganggraphite

The graphite deposition model for Sri Lanka is best described from the bottom up: In the metamorphic sediments, stretching cracks were formed by the folding of the sediments. This has led to the formation of channels for the hydrothermal deposition of high-quality gang graft. As a result of the dismantling in the past, it is known that the thickness and the degree of quality of these passages increases with the depth.

The graphite passages generally fall steeply at -70 degrees to almost perpendicular.

This allows the degradation in the gangway construction process, similar to the process used in the degradation of high-grade gold deposits. The generally used process is firted construction, whereby the high-grade ganggraphite is degraded and transported to the surface without contamination. The graphite band, the contact to the adjacent deaf rock, is transported to the surface and poured into the stockpile for enrichment. The remaining overburden is used to fill the strut.

Due to the nature of the ganggraphite, gauges of approx. 25 cm are expected, which can be economically promoted by underground mining.

All the pieces are falling into place in my opinion. In light of the amazing work of @alpaka , I think these show a real turning point.

    Time to market !
