Lots of doubters here but the 3DP tech is here and it's proved itself it can print metal stuff much faster. The tech can be used to produce stuff that is top secret to a company or things which is limited to certain people and is not allowed to be known to any outsiders. I guess they pulled out of crowdfunding for a reason that there must be some secret deal with some high tech company which do not allow them to reveal the tech to the general public. Also, it's crucial to long distance space ship travel where parts can be printed and repaired on the spot rather than return it to earth and have it repaired.
