lhg & other gold stocks

Surprisingly gold went up last night - despite the news that strike action in SA seems to have been averted ......what does this mean ? -- I dont know really ...but I suspect it means there is likely to be further rises in the gold price ...... I know everyone is sceptical of any upside in the gold price ...hence most of our gold stocks have hardly moved .....however when these things do ...they do ...and given the gold price seems to be going against the general consensus of a few weeks ago ... it may mean some strong short covering and some big spikes up ...... if so LHG could see $1.70 + ...and all other gold stocks 20 - 30 percent up .
