In England I believe the following would happen, all the shareholders who completed the forms will be dealt with first. Then your shares will be complusory taken over. The Registrar for HDR should write to you informing you that they have allocated x number of A$ against your shareholding. To obtain this cash amount you need to complete the enclosed form and send it with your share certificate to them and they will send you the cheque.
It may take a month or two before The Registrars write.
If you have a stockbroker contact them on the matter, if not give your Bank Manager a call they should be able to help speed things up a little so you get your cash. I think you may have missed the deadline for claiming Tullow shares
I am hoping the procedure is similar in OZ
