Debtwire is one of the more reputable news wires around, so I would give it some consideration. It's likely the bondholders talking - this happens all the time. I do recall earlier this year a Debtwire story on SunEdison (US solar manufacturer) talking to lenders on financing that is used in US Chapter 11 situations which turned out to be true later.
