...its all BS.What is a house?My first house would not fit into definition of a first home owners home these days.The median price these days includes the monstrosities that represent someones superannuation fund,hardly an average home.First home owners will have to look towards the unit market or equivalent while the humungous variety subside as the owners fall off the perch.The housing market is a distortion as all markets have been as the baby boomers move through.After we[yes.I'm a boomer] have moved on to the retirement home etc the market will return to a more level field.No need to be despondent,while the young generation are living in units they are enjoying overseas holidays etc that our generation could only dream of.
