Google in situ leach mining and it will give you some idea how they mine uranium. Similar mines in Kazahstan are 500m plus deep.
Grade indication is the key here. My understanding of the program is they started in the north and are drilling into the ore body as they go south. Results are in line with historical intersections. Grade is excellent for isl mining.
