The PM announces today.............. and says blah, blah, blah...... the opposition says blah, blah, blah......... the Society of Whatever says blah, blah, blah......
It is not up to the News media to investigate if the PM is FOS, it is up to the News media to report the News.
Treat News media as a source of current events only, (it is not their job to form an opinion on those current events).
When you get to Opinion Pieces in the media, that is a different issue, an opinion piece is purely an opinion, which includes whatever bias the writer may have.
Treat Opinion media skeptically as this is where exaggerations, cherry picking, and misinformation occurs.
Then you have the Conspiracy and Fake media, which don't care if they make stuff up, they prey on the gullible, (the Pizzagate story is just one example).
