The ABC has a mixture, so need to define between reporter and journalist, the ABC's news reporting (by reporters) is normally good, as for journalist by the nature of the job they include bias and opinion.
As for CNN, Fox, etc, always have your skeptic hat on, and if something doesn't seem quite right or if it is important to you, do further investigation.

Nothing new, been going on for ages, Murdoch being a prime example here in Australia.
Bias in the media (and other places) should be on the curriculum at schools, it would help reduce the number of gullible sheep in Australia.
