Thanks Skyscraper. Sorry that I was a bit obscure in my point, I am not a disbeliever in the technology, quite the opposite, in fact. I am just cynical about the timelines many seem to be expecting.
What I meant was being approved for entry to the market does not mean being of the required standard for multiple fitting into e.g., US Navy applications. The data in the prospectus is not being disputed, I am just stating that the requirements for 100,s of millions $ worth of naval fitting will be far more stringent and detailed testing for all types of failure situations. The beauty of US Navy, is that when you meet all those requirements you won't really ahve to be "price" competitive as you would for private industrial applications.
For massive orders; of levels that are being mooted here for supply into majors, the data and examples from the prospectus/website are the level of data you approach a company with and say "Hey how good is this stuff.(sic)" Then the company verifies the data for their own applications, using their own testing.
Remember that most of the best uses of the composite are for extreme uses such as personal/high-value product protection, extreme weight/strength ratio applications. This applies to most industries where the CFOAM composite seems suited as a major disruptor.
It's worthy to note that I believe when the first application is proven for mass usage to industry, you are going to see excellent rewards, I am just suggesting that many here seem to think that is going to be in an imminent Ann. I am probably wrong, but I don't think it will be soon.
Some of the details of the material requirements for the most obvious market, US Navy will never be made public; further we don't know how far down the track the US Navy is in their own testing (they may be completed but require mods, may be planning orders as we speak, may be months away, may be years away).
