I don't agree with that Szaba. COP don't own BV anymore WPL do. You said yourself the transfer is complete.
You seriously can't expect me to believe that COP keep paying if they don't own the company that holds the asset? As far as the JV is concerned BV is still there so no need for change, I think this is why WPL don't believe PE rights exist, the JV continues on with BV as before with WPL footing the bill. I suspect if the deal falls over COP will have to recompence WPL for any drilling costs. That's my take on it anyway. DB
