They did say "up to 80 foot per day" - if you allow 60 foot per day it will take 12 days - maybe Monday to finish recovery. There may be only two trading days until drilling recommences. I don't buy the downramping about the cementing - If they were not sure it was OK they would not have stated this repeatedly as to do so would be breaching reporting requirements and risking trouble with ASIC. If cement logging was still required this should have been stated in the release.
My interpretation is that the stuck pipe is above the newly cemented section (previously cemented to about 9500 foot, stuck casing about this level).
Does onyone know if the cement logging tool can be passed through the stuck casing to log the lower casing? Might the pipe have been stuck as part of the logging process?
I agree that likely an announcement on Monday - to announce that there was only a few days to go to complete recovery would not be an update on what we already know.
Bring on Monday. Who knows, if recovery gone better than expected could even get ann informing of completion Thurs/Fri and Leadville monday.
Not going to get any cheaper IMO.
