For those with some time on their hands

Well, in March 2017 it will be time for "SIR 2017" in Washington DC.   

There is plenty of info already up on their website, and if you go to this link and then search for terms of interest (eg SIR-Spheres, Therasphere, Radioembolization, SIRT, Sirtex etc) you will find loads of abstracts which you may or may not have seen before.  

I honestly can't recall if I have seen all of these before, some of them seemed quite new but then again my memory is getting shorter every day.  

Quite a few seem to be pushing SIRT prior to resection or transplant and this seems to be the hottest area in town right now.

Of course this is a "SIR" conference so I think all the abstracts would tend to be supportive of SIRT as a therapy.
