Even so let's say that at KDR grades - depending on recoveries, it may take c. 5.5 tonnes of ore per tonne of spodumene and then you use a strip ratio of even 3:1 that gives you 22 tonnes at $3. That is only $66 mining cost per tonne of spod. So still falls under what I used.
At the end of the day its not the input costs that will be the killer. KDR will be in line with or better than most other hard rock operations. The shape of the deposit or pit design imo is not make or break.
The whole sector will be driven or not on where lithium prices go which to some degree is educated speculation. I know you prefer not to be so aloof in your investment techniques though which I respect.
I don't mind if you are out or in. You will do what's right for you. Just trying to progress the discussion and maybe give an alternate view
