Just a comparison but somewhat non-sequitur: think 1.4 mb floppy disk from 16 years ago and now we have little pinky nail sized 2 GB memory cards and of course more memory thereof.
Same drive towards scaling down and density will occur. Vanadate might help if it can squeeze in
