Howdy,
If memory serves me correctly (ha) the YouTube suggests the Globe earth theory is the greatest deception.
IMO, it maybe great but, I believe the Trinity to be greater.
The globe theory I believe is part of a longer term plan to lead people away from or prevent people from finding eternal salvation but IMO, if you have the trinity belief within, you don't have eternal salvation while holding onto that belief.
I say this based on quite a few verses in the bible, however, at the end of the day it is between each individual and God.
One of my influencing reasons for my statement is, a key deception or support for the trinity appears to hinge around John (sheep in wolf's clothing or angel of light (mimic of Holy Spirit))
This being the case, it obviously has Satan's finger in it or influence. If that is the case then it MUST be very important, hence why I say what I do.
The other astounding point is, regardless of what clear and precise verses you put in front of people which throws out the theory of God & Jesus being one in the same in John, they immediately go off into a whole different area (side track the discussion).
It appears out of their control or like, they are obsessed and just go bla bla bla? So that still astounds me and I find it sad.
So, in the following I have a question for you to help me fill in the last few dots.
When you bring up "all" OT verses regarding God's word, it is the be all and the end of all. Creation is so entwined with "his word", in fact much of creation come about via his word. Christ, via the angel bringing God's word resulted in Christ becoming flesh and dwelling among us.
So "I" say, this same word (God's word, 1:2 the same was in the beginning with God) is what John 1:1 is referring to and up until (including) 1:13 it's all about God.
Gives insight of God and how all men and everything come into the word before Christ in the flesh.
If we insist on Jesus being the word (IMO), we then need to show substantial involvement of Jesus using his word in creation or in others words, he is the creator, because the word is the creator.
And, and only in John, we change the meaning/definition of word. The "whole" Bible or whole truth doesn't support this.
Now I asked Mr G this question - What verses do you know of that show Jesus's involvement in creation?
All I have seen from him is JW's version in Prov 8, showing Jesus as "master worker" and the context of this said verse or surrounding verses do NOT support this addition/take.
Regards.
