    Dec 13 (Reuters) - Central Petroleum Ltd (CTP) -

    • Recently received indicative non-binding takeover proposal from Macquarie Sct which board rejected
    • Macquarie is now conducting due diligence, with a view to considering another proposal
    • Board is actively pursuing options; there are no proposals capable of acceptance before board at this time
    • Options include alternative proposals and equity capital structures & arrangements to fund development of central's assets ahead of NGP
