Puts little ole BKP in the middle of some fairly interesting petro-politics. BKP sharing a corner of the bed with the bogey men of big oil (from American/ european eyes anyway ), China to the West and possibly Gazprom to the West. Admittedly ENI have controlling interest in the Mali acreage.
If Block 20 comes good, wait for an american outfit to buy into BKP just to keep an eye on whats cooking in the pie.
