Sciaky’s EBAM 110 System, which will soon be delivered to Airbus, features a build envelope of 70” x 47” x 63 “ (1,778 x 1,194 x 1,600 mm) and can 3D print metal parts ranging in size from 8” to 19’ in length.
I don't think that mass deposition of material is what is the priority here...these are plane wings after all/ seems like anti-climax to make a heavy winged plane...couldn't carry passengers...there is the requirement for ...overall length....figures above suggest printing a 19foot (almost 7 metre) section. Interesting enough in its own right though , don't you agree?
