"Mals disasterous election campaign"
I hope we all remember it was actually the Liberal conservatives' disastrous election campaign. With more moderate candidates, Turnbull would be coasting now.
In Tasmania, Eric Abetz had installed three social conservatives who were pretty revolting and self-serving - all lost their seats. In SA Abbott supporter Jamie Briggs lost, even when he had Cory Bernardi pork-barreling the Mayo electorate with a grab of $1 million from the arts budget to give to the Heysens for renovating the Hans Heysen privately owned home.
If it wasn't for Daniel Andrews shafting the CFA, Shorten would be PM right now. Turnbull saved the LNP conservatives and yet they never stop backstabbing and undermining him.
