This development, although seemingly not core business has many more implications than simply making your music work over radio.

Let's look at one aspect regarding car inter connectivity, today i hired a 'premium' vehicle, from a well know car rental firm.

Despite it being a premium vehicle, and despite it of a well known manufacture, there was no bluetooth connectivity available. I imagine that most vehicles for sale have bluetooth (although there are still some that dont) - it is obviously an added cost to the manufacturer.

It is therefore pretty unlikely that in China, and India (when manufacturing of cars start) - with the sort of tech proposed by xped and partners, it will probably make bluetooth redundant in those markets.

This could be a very big deal indeed. Some of the things that we take for granted:

Sensors for parking
Sensors for overtaking vehicles
GPS navigation
Lane departure warnings
Engine diagnostics
Tyre pressure

In fact all of the little add ons that are common in upper range vehicles, COULD quite conceivably be controlled by an ARDC device. Don't forget Vital X - their business is sensors.
Very possibly a highly disruptive tech in play here.
