niu...you won't get an argument from me about the culpability of all those corporations...plus more. The point was simply that the regulatory bodies of 'both' countries are nothing to be proud of....but it would seem that the ASX is a lot more lenient about fiscal machinations. If you look at the number of 'mining' companies listed both on the ASX and Canadian exchanges (which typically go hand in hand) they are a grab bag of scam artists and wanna be miners. That's not to say 'all' fit in this category...but for every legitimate one there are a half dozen 'listed' companies that would never get through the US regulatory system to sell public shares. Maybe I should have made myself more clear.
