    I read the article and I thought it was quite balanced. The Washington Post is a highly respected newspaper with quality journalists. I don't trust anything JL says any more, anyway.

    We all know any sort of mining has unintended consequences and environmental impacts, it's a matter of minimising such impacts. Plus lithium is needed to decarbonise the global economy.

    No mining companies are saints, but at least ORE/SDJ helps the local community and performs their mining activities in as sustainable a method as possible.

    Perhaps people should point out errors in the article if they're aware of any? I'm sure there are some errors in there, no articles such as these are ever perfect and both sides are never happy.
