Ok sure but where are they getting the algorithm and all the datasets from? There's no doubting Apple could get a product to market a lot faster than a small startup but the ResApp code sure as sh** isn't open source.

Even then, it's not just about the product itself , it's about proving it works. I think someone has mentioned that this has been a 7 year process for RAP. Again, I'm sure a big player could get it done quicker if they put their wallets behind it but the wheels of bureaucracy move pretty slowly for everyone.
