From memory hafnium is a mixture of six naturally occurring isotopes so I would expect that laser separation of the isotopes will work the same sort of magic that the Silex process worked with silicon. Pure isotopic material generally has far better physical properties from the point of view of chip manufacture and performance. If so, then I would expect that hafnium will replace silicon based chips quite quickly and Silex might some sort of a look in.
