The main issue they face will be the exact same one that Wangle have. Apple gave their own rules but also will not break local rules. If the Australian govt says no VPN without user registration then Apple will comply.
If Wangle find themselves as the only complaint provider in Australia then obviously they will do quite well...
As others have also alluded to Wangle are a VPN however the competitive advantage comes from the speed and data savings rather than the privacy.
