He's not calling a bottom because the bottom isn't in, it's not even close to being in.
He'll probably know the bottom's close to being in and so will I when the goldbugs throw in the towel and stop whining about manipulation and banksters.
In the meantime, Chinese and Indian gold demand's down, production's up, sentiment is stink, t/a reeks of more weakness, Dow 20,000 will happen in the next week or two, interest rates will sneak up and there'll be more good economic news.
