Can anybody suggest a decent tax strategy for me?
Basically, this is my situation...
I have made a significant overall trading profit since last financial year.
I have unrealised losses on SEN.
I would like to "lock-in" some of those losses to reduce my taxable income.
I would like to hang-on to SEN.
Would you suggest waiting until June 30 to sell and re-buy (assuming still losing)? Or doing so now? Or selling now, waiting for SEN to go down to 25.5 again, then re-buy? Any ideas?
