Turnbull's a dud and blew Abbott's majority but he's better than Shorten (just).
Malcolm is in serious poll trouble and turns it around or goes. The right of the party are preventing any of Turnbull's own hobby horses getting traction so it's a pretty good situation. Ok, so Abbott would have kept his majority and Turnbull needed Dan Andrews and a $50 billion bribe but he wasn't as toxic as Shorten and the votes eventually reflected that.
A bad Lib PM, which we have, is better than any Labor PM.
