if they only wanted DSO then why lie on their original application for Developing a Mine on SI.
of course they did not want a HPAL plant on the SI,s why would they when they could ship it to the Philippines and pay $18 per person per week in wages ...the wages paid in the Solomon Islands is about 24% less then here. but still in the top 10% of wages paid their...so you can not compare salaries paid in the Philippines compared to the SI,s ...so obviously if SMM thought and still think it was Viable to DSO to the Philippines for processing then why is it not Viable for AVQ to do the same.
the 20% is net profit , but you know that and keep maintaining its off gross profits.
also the 20% is a TAX credit for us ......but I guess you dont know that.

Honestly, this is the first time I have ever heard of a 20% tax credit from a 20% JV......if that is the case, all companies should do this to pay less tax.
