Thanks everyone for the compliments. Just to clear some things up:
1. no, I'm not a genius, I just watched too much Monty Python as a uni student & while I'm on holidays I have too much time on my hands.
2. that guy is a Spanish comedian called El Risitas ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Risitas ) . There is a copy of the full interview with English subtitles of the correct translation on YouTube if anyone wants to find out what he was really saying - myself I didn't think it was that funny, he's telling the story of how when he was working as a dishwasher he lost some pots he was supposed to clean in the ocean (yawn), but the Spanish seem to love him. The clip has been used heaps of times as a meme for various issues.
3. @JandJ I don't know the one where he takes the Mickie out of the profit (?) - is that the one from when Valve started charging people to do mods on Steam?
4. if anyone from the Ministry of Minerals & Energy in Peru watches the clip: please do not take offence, it was done in the spirit of humour and I'm sure you all have your full set of teeth and always process applications for drilling permits as quickly as possible. I'm also sure it was an inadvertent breakdown in communication (as depicted in the clip) that caused ICG to think they had been told that the issue of the permit was "imminent". Of course, if you are embarrassed by the clip, the easiest way to avoid more clips like this would be to issue the permit ASAFP
