Several significant production issues for the almond industry including the high losses from harvest to processing due to carob moth, carpophilus beetle and hull rot. Water security will always be an issue, but SHV seem to have that mostly in hand.
The big plantings in the ground from 2015/16 will begin bearing in 2018. prices starting to recover to previous positive trend.
SHV is a long term good buy IMHO.
